Headache
Have you ever had those dehydration-induced headaches that make you go crazy? If not, that’s fine; they’re more common in athletes. If you stop drinking water, you might experience one, too, even if you’re not up and running for the marathon.
Generally, dehydration-induced headaches are caused by intense sweating, which leads to excessive sweating, which causes dehydration. As I mentioned earlier, it thickens the blood, which makes it much more difficult to carry oxygen. Your brain won’t receive the needed oxygen, and this might lead to a bad headache.
If you want to change this habit of not drinking enough water, I’m totally with you and support your initiative. So much so that I wanted to share with you my favorite product, the Brita XL Water Filter Dispenser. This amazing product only needs 5 minutes of attention a day (because you have to add water to filter it), and then you have all the water you need.

Dehydration can lower blood pressure, which is why some blood pressure meds are diuretics.
Very good article. I have kidney problems and need a lot of water every day.
Very helpful & easy to read & remember (I am 82 1/2+ years old) THANKS!!!!!!!!
For sure I love to drink WATER + LEMON JUICE (NOT WITH SUGAR) & usually take a glass AFTER dinner. Also I drink a large COFFEE-CUP (+ evaporated milk & NO SUGAR) with my breakfast.
During the day, I prefer orange juice or other type of fruit juice, & now, due to colder temperatures, l love to drink @ night, before bed, a large cup of Chamomile Tea (NO SUGAR)
which I enjoy very much, & I know it is much better than just plain leaf-tea, which contains caffein.
Great information!!! Thank you so very much! Samuella clarett

“…headaches are caused by intense sweating, which leads to excessive sweating.”
Guess you nailed the reason, there.
I never drink water, I am 77 years old, I never liked the taste, since childhood. I was told by a doctor, 20 years ago, as long as my body gets enough fluids, I should be fine. I am from Philadelphia Pa.

My worse health “neglect” is not drinking enough WATER. My most complaints are associated to “NOT DRINKING ENOUGH WATER”. Any suggestions?
I do not drink enough water. What amount should we drink.? Is there anyway that we can sweeten it? I was given Pedialite but was told not to drink too much of it because of the sugar content! What can we do to make it more palatable? I was in the hospital for 10 days and given water intravenously because I could never drink more than 3 16 oz. Bottles per day abd even that was hard. What can I do to get myself to drink the required amount?
Absolutely. Lower blood pressure can/will cause an increase in heart rate as a way to get the BP back up….
It’s probably not a coincidence that I came across this article. “Someone” is trying to get the point into my hard head that I’d better make some healthier choices……and fast! (I have a few of these issues listed, due to not drinking required amounts of water I’m sure.) Thank you for the nudge.
This can be true. I know this first hand. Pun on fact
I know this first hand. Too much sugar lead to yeast infection. Also
I enjoyed the information and I know water is essential but I prefer Diet Coke which is not good. I have now started drinking more water and feel a lot healthier,
Drinking water everyday like you have to eat, it’s a great benefit for your body. Thank you for your info!
